The last word in the Bible is "come", and I believe that it is that invitation to which the doves in these holy cards are responding. The Heart of the Risen Christ is the Source of Life to which souls fly who hear His word and respond. Nourished, refreshed and divinized by the outpouring of Divine Love and Life, they rest briefly from their labor and quickly return to the world bringing with them God's transforming energies.
